Lost in a Loophole

Paul was involved in the first Gulf War as he supported the British Military as a civilian. After he returned from the Gulf he has been suffering from kidney dysfunction but he has no chance to get official support because of his status 'civilian'.
He was told that he couldn't live until his 50th, but he survived all these years, although he has to get dialysed every other day which takes about four hours each. He celebrated his 50th birthday in November 2012 with his friends, families and medical staff who have been supporting him.
